The Magee Memorial Hospital for Convalescents (operating as Magee Rehabilitation) is a not-for-profit health organization that provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative care to patients disabled by stroke, arthritis, spinal cord and brain injuries, or other conditions. With 96 beds, it offers rehabilitation for patients recovering from amputation, orthopedic surgery, and joint replacements. It also provides wellness programs for muscular, neurological, and neurodegenerative disorders. Other programs focus on pain management a learning to live with a debilitating condition. Outpatient services include physical therapy, speech therapy, and emotional support.
