Rowan Regional Medical Center serves central North Carolina. RRMC has added services to meet community medical needs that include a 30-bed psychiatric unit and prostate care. Along with a range of specialty care options, RRMC administers primary care and emergency medical transport.

Sacred Heart Health System serves residents of Northwestern Florida, primarily through the Sacred Heart Hospital of Pensacola. The 460-bed acute care medical center includes the Sacred Heart Children's Hospital, the Sacred Heart Women's Hospital, and the Sacred Heart Regional Heart and Vascular Institute. Sacred Heart Hospital of Pensacola also specializes in trauma care, heart disease, cancer care, weight loss, stroke care, neurology, and orthopedics, and it has an educational affiliation with Florida State University College of Medicine. Sacred Heart Health System operates additional acute, long-term, primary, and specialty care centers in the region.
