Vantage Partners techniques are based on those in the book Getting to YES: Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In, written by director and founder Bruce Patton. The founders of the Harvard Negotiation Project, a research center at Harvard Law School that focuses on negotiation and conflict resolution, formed Vantage Partners in 1997.
