Trifecta Entertainment and Media is a triple threat in network TV, cable TV, and direct-to-video films. The multimedia company develops, produces, and distributes a variety of mainly syndicated television programming, including scripted and reality series, miniseries, and movies made for TV. Its roster includes detective series Cold Case Files, teen drama The Hills, and wildlife reality show Animal Atlas. The company's New York-based Trifecta Media unit is responsible for US distribution, advertiser sales, and branding and marketing of the programs in its own portfolio, as well as other programs for third parties. Trifecta Entertainment and Media was founded in 2005 by four former MGM Television executives.
