Natchez Regional Medical Center is a full-service acute care hospital serving a region known as Miss-Lou, which includes seven counties in southwestern Mississippi and two parishes of northeastern Louisiana. The hospital provides general medical and surgical care with nearly 200 licensed beds. It offers specialty services in a number of areas, including cardiac catheterization, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient surgery, and geriatric mental health. Owned by the county, Natchez Regional Medical Center opened its doors in 1960. While not technically bankrupt, in 2009 the medical center filed for Chapter 9 bankruptcy protection in order to reorganize.

Nationwide Children's Hospital (formerly Columbus Children's Hospital) in Columbus, Ohio, is one of the largest pediatric care centers in the US. It has more than 850 health care providers on its medical staff and its emergency department treats more than 75,000 patients each year. The hospital also operates outpatient and specialty clinics in the area and a research institute which is investigating gene therapy. Nationwide Children's Hospital opened its doors in 1892 with nine beds.

NCH Healthcare System provides a comprehensive range of health care services to residents of Collier County and the surrounding area of southwest Florida. The system includes two acute care hospitals (NCH Downtown Naples Hospital and NCH North Naples Hospital) with a combined 680-bed capacity and regional institutes which specialize in orthopedics and the treatment of cancer, heart ailments, and women's and children's health issues. NCH includes an area network of more than 500 primary care and specialist physicians, as well as numerous outpatient and ambulatory care facilities that provide services ranging from diagnostics to rehabilitative care to surgery and emergency care.

Nevada City Hospital (dba Nevada Regional Medical Center) provides health care services for the residents in western Missouri. The facility offers services such as behavioral health, cardiology, emergency medicine, obstetrics, and occupational therapy. In addition to the more than 50-bed hospital, the medical center also operates a nearly 40-bed Alzheimer's unit, a more than 110-bed nursing home, a home health and hospice facility, and various rural health clinics.

New Hanover Health Network (NHHN) system serves the Wilmington and Cape Fear area of North Carolina through the 635-bed New Hanover Regional Medical Center, the 130-bed Cape Fear Hospital, and the 85-bed Pender Memorial Hospital. NHHN is also home to a rehabilitation center, a behavioral health facility, hospice services, home health care, EMS transport services, physicians practices, and outpatient clinics. The not-for-profit New Hanover Health Network is affiliated with the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
