Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a 670-bed, acute-care regional referral hospital. The facility serves residents of Newark and surrounding areas in northern New Jersey. Newark Beth Israel Medical hospital offers services including primary, diagnostic, emergency, surgical, and rehabilitative care. It is home to specialized programs such as kidney transplantation, cancer care, dentistry, sleep disorders, and women's health services. The facility also houses the Children's Hospital of New Jersey and the Saint Barnabas Heart Center. Newark Beth Israel Medical hospital has a medical staff of more than 800 physicians.
