Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc.

Nationwide Children's Hospital (formerly Columbus Children's Hospital) in Columbus, Ohio, is one of the largest pediatric care centers in the US. The hospital has some 350 licensed beds and offers services in areas such as behavioral health, cardiology, hospice, orthopedics, and surgery. It has more than 850 health care providers on its medical staff and its emergency department treats more than 75,000 patients each year. The hospital also operates outpatient and specialty clinics in the area and a research institute which is investigating gene therapy. Nationwide Children's Hospital opened its doors in 1892 with nine beds.
