Although it has only 120 acres under cultivation, the vineyard's numerous varieties (some unfiltered and containing no sulfites) include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Claret, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Pinot Noir. The company was founded on one square mile of land by Peter and Su Hua Newton in 1977. Newton Vineyard has been part of a family of wines marketed by Verve Clicquot Ponsardin, a subsidiary of LVMH Mot Hennessy Louis Vuitton, since 2001.

Pahlmeyer produces chardonnay, merlot, and some proprietary blends from grapes grown on several California vineyards. Pahlmeyer also operates its own vineyard near Napa, California. The 220-acre ranch supports 100 acres of vineyards. Pahlmeyer was founded by Jason Pahlmeyer who sold his first vintage in 1986. Pahlmeyer sells proprietary blends under the "Jason" and "Pahlmeyer" labels.

Paragon Vineyards owns a winery and vineyard in the San Luis Obispo area between San Francisco and Los Angeles. The Paragon vineyards operate under the Firepeak name, which also is the namesake for a second line of Baileyana wines. Other labels include CADRE, tangent, and trenza. The company also owns the Meier's Wine Cellars, which operates a 40-acre vineyard on North Bass Island on Lake Erie (the vineyard was larger before the company sold much of the land in 2004 to the state of Ohio). Paramount Distillers operates warehousing and distribution facilities in Iowa and Ohio, but offers its more than 45 varieties of wine globally. The company also offers non-alcoholic sparkling and still juice beverages. Paramount, founded shortly after the repeal Prohibition, was purchased by Robert Gottesman and Associates in 1957. In 2009, Paramount Distillers celebrated 75 years as a proud part of Cleveland's business community. Paramount's history dates back to 1934, when J. F. Moessmer founded the company on W. 106th St. a month after the repeal of Prohibition. Under Moessmer, Paramount was a modest operation, marketing primarily cordials and vodka in Ohio and Iowa. The company prospered and moved to its present site on Berea Road in 1946.
