Newton Vineyard LLC
The Golden State's sun and soil have been good to Newton Vineyard. Newton produces red and white wines from the terraced slopes of its 560-acres of land and winery located in St. Helena, California. Although it has only 120 acres under cultivation, the vineyard's numerous varieties (some unfiltered and containing no sulfites) include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Claret, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Pinot Noir. The company was founded on one square mile of land by Peter and Su Hua Newton in 1977. Newton Vineyard has been part of a family of wines marketed by Verve Clicquot Ponsardin, a subsidiary of LVMH Mot Hennessy Louis Vuitton, since 2001.
