Ashok Leyland Group, the indigenous light and heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer has ventured in to the passenger vehicle segment with its flagship MPV, Stile.
This multi purpose vehicle is designed and developed in collaboration with Nissan Motors.
This vehicle shares the body platform of Evalia, which makes it look mostly identical to it.
Its side profile has sliding doors, which gives it a distinct look while making it easy to ingress and egress. It is built on Monocoque chassis, which makes it rigid and sturdier.
Stile is available with an option to choose between seven and eight seater versions.
The Stile has the same five-speed transmission, and the same amount of space inside the cabin.
This vehicle has a lot of space inside the cabin with decent leg room, shoulder space and head room, which provides comfortable seating for the occupants inside.
Ashok Leyland Stile come with a music system, a tachometer or adjustable side mirrors. The only luxuries are air-conditioning, with separate vents for rear passengers, power steering and power windows.
Its front facade gets a smiley shaped radiator grille that has horizontally positioned slats, which are done up in black.
This vehicle is equipped with several important comfort including a digital clock, an air conditioning system and central locking system.
The Stile takes about 36 metres to come to a halt from 80kph.
It also has a few hi-tech safety features including engine immobilizer, rear door child lock, side impact beams and three point seatbelts, which ensures proper protection to all the occupants.
This first ever passenger car from this company is pretty attractive from its outside and quite spacious from insides.
Stile is available in a total of three trim levels namely LE, LS and LX.
