Bajaj Auto motorcycle sales rise 9% in February
Bajaj Auto today reported a 9% increase in motorcycle sales at 2,35,282 units in February 2016.
The company had sold 2,16,077 units in the year ago period.
Total vehicle sales last month stood at 2,72,719 units, up 12%, as against 2,43,319 units in the same month a year earlier, Bajaj Auto said in a BSE filing.
However, the two-wheeler major said its exports declined by 12% during the month to 98,959 units from 1,12,909 units in the corresponding year-ago period.
In the commercial vehicles category, Bajaj Auto's sale during the month stood at 37,437 units, up 37%, as against 27,242 units in February 2015.
