Nordisk Film produces and distributes national and international feature and short films in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. The productions are distributed to cinemas throughout the Nordic region, including the company's own Nordisk Film Cinemas in Denmark and Norway. Nordisk Film also produces TV programs, as well as commercials, music videos, and animated content, and it offers a range of post-production services. Additionally, the company has an exclusive deal with Sony that allows it to market and distribute PlayStation game consoles in Scandinavian countries. In 1906 Ole Olsen started the company, which adopted the polar bear as its trademark. Nordisk Film is a subsidiary of Egmont International.
