EnvironMax, Inc.
EnvironMax, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Enmax Corporation. Enmax began as a high-tech software company at a Georgia Tech business incubator in 1989. The company moved to Utah in 1994 after members of Utah's Washington delegation convinced ENMAX of the business advantages of Utah.
In 1998, Enmax captured the Department of Defense contract for an early stage Environmental Management System (EMS) software developed by the government called the Hazardous Materials Management System (HMMS). From that point, EnvironMax was carved out as a separate company to significantly improve the government product and ultimately secure all license rights to bring it to its current category leader status and move beyond to create a web-based product, EnvironMax 4.0-HMMS for both the governmental and commercial markets.
