Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan concentrates on residential lending, in addition to construction, multifamily and commercial real estate loans. NVFC and Southern Connecticut Bancorp called off plans to merge in 2010. Naugatuck Valley Mutual Holding Company owns 58% of NVFC's stock.
