Henrico Doctors' Hospital comprises a network of hospital campuses -- Forest, Parham, and Retreat -- that serve central Virginia through its respective Richmond locations. With a total of more than 760 beds, the acute care hospital group provides a range of emergency, medical, surgical, and rehabilitative services, with specialties in cardiac care, oncology, orthopedics, women's health, diagnostic imaging, and minimally invasive robotic surgery (a system designed to improve upon the traditional laparoscopy). It is also a national leader in kidney transplants and a leader in stroke care in Virginia. Henrico Doctors' Hospital is part of the HCA Virginia Health System, itself a subsidiary of US hospital operator HCA.
