Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital which opened its doors in 1930, is the flagship facility of the Texas Health Resources hospitals system. Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital is the largest and busiest hospital in Fort Worth. It is a private, not-for-profit, 700-bed tertiary care hospital serving the residents of Tarrant County and nearby communities in Texas. More than 800 physicians provide both in-patient and out-patient care. Specialized services include cardiovascular care, emergency medicine, kidney transplants, occupational health, trauma care, and rehabilitation. Its Harris Methodist Heart Center has about 100 beds.
