Hays Medical Center brings big city health care to rural Kansas. The not-for-profit hospital, which has about 200 beds, provides both acute and tertiary medical care to the Midwestern plains. Part of the HCA family, the system operates about a dozen hospitals in central, northern, and southwestern Virginia. Its hospitals include Alleghany Regional Hospital, CJW Medical Center (which includes the Levinson Heart Hospital), Henrico Doctors' Hospital (and its Retreat Hospital campus), John Randolph Medical Center, and Montgomery Regional Hospital. The medical system also operates general health clinics, imaging centers, and surgery centers for outpatient procedures.
