Hawai'i Pacific Health
Hawaii may be paradise, but even paradise's residents get sick sometimes. That's when Hawai'i Pacific Health (HPH) surfs in to save the day. HPH is a not-for-profit health care system consisting of four hospitals and more than 20 outpatient centers across four islands. The organization was formed through the 2001 merger of three entities: Kapi'olani Health, Straub Clinic & Hospital, and Wilcox Health System. The HPH system includes a full array of tertiary, specialty, and acute care services provided through its medical centers, which also serve as teaching and research centers. Specialized services offered by HPH include cardiac care, maternity services, oncology, orthopedics, and pediatric care.
