Friendship Dairies originated over 90 years ago in the small town of Friendship, located in upstate NY, where its founder first crafted an Old World Style Cheese called Farmer Cheese. This All Natural cheese was produced all week long then transported by railway to be sold on the streets of New York City.

Today, Friendship is a leading producer of "All Natural" cultured and pasteurized dairy products, processing more than a million pounds of Grade A milk a day at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility still located in Friendship, NY. The milk is delivered fresh and used within hours of its arrival to make a wide variety of All Natural dairy products including Cottage Cheese, Sour Cream, Farmer Cheese, Buttermilk and select Yogurt products.

The same care and attention to quality that have been the cornerstone of the Friendship Brand since its inception, is still adhered to this day. And Farmer Cheese, still in high demand, continues to be produced in a way that maintains its tradition of "homemade" excellence. Friendship has received much praise for the taste, consistency, and overall quality of its products.

All Friendship dairy products conform to Vegetarian Diet Standards and, with the exception of Toasted Onion Flavored Sour Cream, are Gluten Free.
