In the mid 1980's they started making Beef Jerky and Snack Sticks. With their outstanding quality and savory flavor their sales really took off.They had people coming from 3 different counties to purchase their top quality Meat Snacks. People wanted them to ship it out of state to friends and relatives. They also had many requests to sell their Meat Snacks to some local bars and taverns. However, being a retail exempt store they could not sell their products outside of their immediate store in Mentor-On-The-Lake.Therefore, after much thought and sadness(15 years of friends and customers) they sold their retail store in August 1996. Then in February 1997 ground was broken for their new state of the art USDA inspected Meat Snack processing plant in Painesville, Ohio.
