The Interfaith Alliance
The Interfaith Alliance (TIA) cuts across all religions to find common ground for the common good. The not-for-profit fosters democratic values and tolerance for different religious beliefs. The Interfaith Alliance has more than 185,000 members in the US from some 75 different faiths. The Interfaith Alliance work to promote civic participation, freedom of religion, civility in public discourse, and political involvement through town hall meetings, publications, teach-ins, vigils, and lobbying. TIA also airs State of Belief, a weekly radio show that explores religious issues and conflicts. The Interfaith Alliance was founded in 1994 by a group of religious leaders of different denominations.
