The Jewish Federations of North America, Inc.
The Jewish Federations of North America (formerly the United Jewish Communities) works to better Jewish life across the globe. One of North America's leading not-for-profit organizations, the JFNA represents more than 150 Jewish federations and about 400 independent Jewish communities across the continent. The federation raises and distributes more than $3.5 billion annually for social welfare, social services, and educational needs in its effort to support Israel and Jews worldwide. The Jewish Federations of North America, Inc. changed its name from United Jewish Communities to The Jewish Federations of North America in 2009.
