Food For The Poor feeds spiritual and physical hunger. The Christian charity provides health, social, economic, and religious services for impoverished people in 17 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Food For The Poor believes its organization serves God by helping those most in need, distributing requested goods through local churches and charities. The group works through Caritas, the American-Nicaraguan Foundation, and others to provide vocational training, clinic and school construction, educational materials, feeding programs, and medical supplies. Food For The Poor has distributed more than $3 billion in goods since its 1982 inception; the group uses 96% of its funds on programs.
