American Indian College Fund
The American Indian College Fund transforms Indian higher education by funding and creating awareness of the unique, community-based accredited Tribal Colleges and Universities, offering students access to knowledge, skills, and cultural values which enhance their communities and the country as a whole. The American Indian College Fund helps kids get a reservation education. American Indian College Fund provides about 5,000 scholarships a year for American Indian students to attend one of more than 30 tribal colleges operating on reservations. American Indian College Fund also provides funding for programs in areas such as teacher training, culture preservation, and construction. Events like Celebration of Native Peoples held in various US cities benefit the American Indian College Fund. American Indian College Fund was formed in 1989.
