Microsoft has rolled out a new update for its last-generation gaming console Xbox 360, launched in 2005. It was last updated in March 2016.

State Bank of India (SBI) on Monday raised interest rates on retail fixed deposits (FDs) of some maturities by 5-25 basis points (bps). One-year FDs at the bank will now yield 6.65% for general deposit-holders, up from 6.4%. Senior citizens will earn 7.15% on deposits with the same maturity, as against 6.9% earlier. Deposits maturing between two years and three years will now yield 6.65%, 5 bps higher than earlier. For senior citizens, they will earn 7.15%, up from 7.1% earlier.

Markets regulator Sebi will soon put in place system-driven disclosures for non-promoters, directors and certain class of employees of listed companies. The system-driven disclosures in securities market was introduced in December 2015 and is being implemented in a phased manner. Idea Cellular on Monday announced the launch of VoLTE services in 9 cricles —Mumbai, Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, UP (East), UP (West), Bihar & Jharkhand and Rajasthan. Following this, the company is now offering the service in 15 cricles. Earlier this month, it had launched VoLTE in Maharashtra & Goa, MP & Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, AP & Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. State-owned power generator NTPC’s profit in FY18 slipped by 1.9% from last year to Rs 10,501.5 crore, notwithstanding a 7% rise in revenue to Rs 88,083 crore in the same period, as its finance costs in the fiscal went up by 21% to Rs 4,434.6 crore. The company was also affected by under-recovery of about Rs 800 crore on account of fuel shortage at several of its generating stations, underscoring the ongoing issue of coal scarcity at power plants across the country.

Amazon Wholesale India — the business-to-business (B2B) division of e-commerce firm Amazon India — posted a net profit of Rs 2.8 crore for the year ended March 2017 against a net loss of Rs 23.2 crore in the preceding year, according to filings with Registrar of Companies (RoC) and documents sourced by data intelligence platform Paper.VC. Revenue from operations increased to Rs 7,047.3 crore in FY17 from just Rs 2.6 crore in FY16.

The department of telecommunications (DoT) will hold deliberations on Wednesday with stakeholders, including Trai, on standards and regulatory issues related to the launch of 5G services in the country.
