National Highways Authority of India has established its Rs 250 billion Medium Term Note (MTN) programme on India INX’s Global Securities Market. India INX is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BSE Ltd and its Global Securities Market platform offers fundraising framework from global investors on a par with other international venues. Since its launch in January 2018, Indian issuers have established programs of $21 billion on this new platform.

Hinduja group flagship Ashok Leyland has rolled out the 2,00,000th unit of light commercial vehicle "Dost" from its manufacturing facility, a top official said.

The 2,00,000th unit was the company's highly popular "Dost" range of model, which was rolled out from the assembly line at its manufacturing unit in Hosur about 300kms from here.

The GLS 350 d comes with a 3-litre V6 diesel engine producing 258 horsepower while GLS 400 features a V6 petrol engine that delivers 333 horsepower.

The aircraft, a Boeing 777-300, operating AI 126 ( Chicago-New Delhi), which was scheduled to take off at 1.30pm (local time), is currently on ground due to a crack on the edge flap on one of the wings, an Air India source said.

Dallas: Lockheed Martin Corp. won a $247.5 million Nasa contract to build a quieter supersonic jet, a step toward developing planes that can whisk passengers around the globe much more quickly.

The experimental aircraft is expected to take to the skies in 2021 and will have a top velocity of 1.5 times the speed of sound, or about 990 miles per hour (1,600 kilometers) at an altitude of 55,000 feet, Lockheed said Tuesday.
