Washington County Health System (WCHS) provides a wide range of medical services to patients living in western Maryland, southern Pennsylvania, and adjacent portions of West Virginia. Its flagship facility, the not-for-profit Washington County Hospital, has some 350 beds and offers acute, tertiary, and long-term care, including inpatient behavioral health services, cardiac care, obstetrics, cancer treatment, rehabilitation, and trauma care. WCHS also operates the for-profit Antietam Health Services, a provider of outpatient health care, including diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, and ambulatory surgery. In addition, it provides general practice care at the Robinwood Medical Center.
