The fur flies off the auction block at Finnish Fur Sales (FFS). The international auction house trades primarily in raw fur skins, including mink, fox, raccoon, and lamb. FSS buys its furs mostly from breeders in Nordic and Central Europe. The company holds a handful of auctions each year. The majority of FSS clients, consisting of fur brokers, manufacturers, and representatives of the fashion and textile industries, hail from Europe, Russia, and the Far East.
