The Advertising Specialty Institute, also known as ASI. It produces catalogs, magazines, newsletters, and information directories, in addition to conducting industry research. Besides its publications, the organization oversees Web sites, such as ASICentral.com and Promomart.com. It also holds trade shows all over the US. Nearly 25,000 promotional products sellers and manufacturers are members of ASI. Founded in 1950, the group got its start by creating a database of promotional products suppliers and manufacturers.
