Rossi American Hardwoods and Hardwood Lumber Manufacturing merged in 2007 to create AHI. In 2009 Augusta Lumber acquired most of AHI's assets, with the new company retaining the American Hardwood name (Augusta became AHI's subsidiary). John O'Dea, former president of Augusta, is head of the new company.
