Sponda Plc
Sponda was formed in 1991 by the Bank of Finland to take over the real estate properties held by Skopbank Group. Sponda rents history in Helsinki. The company is a real estate investment trust (REIT) with about 850,000 sq. meters of office, commercial, and logistics properties. Most of Sponda's properties are located in the Helsinki metropolitan area, including several historic properties in the central business district, such as the City Center complex (known by the locals as "Makkaratalo"). Sponda Plc also owns properties in the High Tech Espoo and Vantaa Airport City regions of Helsinki, as well as properties in other areas of Finland.
