Mercy Health Partners Inc. (Scranton)
Mercy Health Partners offers medical care to residents of northeastern Pennsylvania. The health network (operating as Mercy Health Partners Northeast Region) runs the 270-bed Mercy Hospital in Scranton, an acute-care medical center specializing in cardiology, oncology, and orthopedics. It also includes the Mercy Special Care Hospital, a long-term acute-care facility in Nanticoke. A third hospital, the Mercy Tyler Hospital (formerly Tyler Memorial Hospital) in Tunkhannock, joined the network at the start of 2010. Mercy Health Partners also operates several outpatient care clinics and provides home health and hospice services in the region. Mercy is an affiliated member of Catholic Healthcare Partners.
