KK Women's and Children's Hospital

KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) lives by the credo "women and children first." It is Singapore's largest women and children's hospital with specialists in obstetrics, menopause, surgery, reproductive medicine, sports medicine, mental wellness, and neonatology. It also offers allied health and nursing services ranging from rehabilitation and nutrition to social work and support counseling. The hospital treats more than 500,000 women and children per year. With roots going back to 1858, KKH was established as a free maternity hospital in 1924 and within a few years was home to half of all deliveries in Singapore.
