Children's Health Care
Children's Health Care was founded in 1924. Children's Health Care (better known as Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota) is one of the largest pediatric health organizations in the US, with two full-service hospital campuses in Minneapolis and St. Paul, as well as a number of specialty clinics in the region. With more than 330 beds between its two hospitals, the not-for-profit Children's Health Care specializes in diagnosing, treating, and researching diseases that afflict babies and children, including epilepsy, diabetes, cancers, and cystic fibrosis. It also runs a Teen Age Medical Service, which provides reproductive health care, counseling, and other medical services to adolescents.
