The Dispatch Printing Company is a leading regional media company anchored by its flagship newspaper The Columbus Dispatch. It also owns a portfolio of more than 20 community papers through subsidiary ThisWeek Community Newspapers, and it publishes Columbus Parent, a free monthly magazine on parenting. Its Dispatch Broadcast Group owns and operates two TV stations, the WBNS radio station, the Ohio News Network radio service, and a 24-hour cable news channel. Dispatch Printing also has a stake in the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey team. The Columbus Dispatch traces its roots to 1871, when it was first published as The Daily Dispatch. The Wolfe family, led by chairman John Wolfe, has owned the company since 1905.
