With small beginnings and great expectations, we at Stremicks Heritage Foods have come a long way in order to establish a reputation based on our expertise and commitment to quality.The early stages of development were begun in 1988 when our President and CEO, Lou Stremick, purchased Carnation dairy in Los Angeles and changed the name to Main St. In 1990, Lou and a group of investors purchased Adohr Farms and merged both Main St. and Adohr together. Adohr Farms was founded in 1916 by Merritt and Rhoda (backwards, that's Adohr) Adamson, and became the worlds largest milk producer. After a rich history including Spanish land grants, a battle to overcome the Great Depression, and more than two decades of ownership by Southland Corporation, Adohr Farms was ready for a new vision and new direction. As our focus changed to meet the increasing demand for organic and 'good for you' products, so did our name. Newly named Stremicks Heritage Foods, we took our already exceptional line of products to new heights with our Organic Milk and will continue to bring you more ‘good for you' products.The knowledge and expertise of the people who brought Stremicks Heritage Foods to where it is today dates back long before the company was established. We've assembled a team with exceptional experience. In fact, our staff boasts an average tenure of more than 25 years and we recognize all of the hard work each individual provides in order for this company to continue to prosper. Our farmer-owned cooperative was formed back in 1909. It grew out of the desire on the part of a handful of farmers to ensure that the cheese produced in the area was of the absolute highest quality. That commitment caught on and Tillamook County Creamery Association eventually expanded to include all of the small, independent cheese plants in the county. Today, TCCA is made up of approximately 110 dairy families.Over the years, we have earned a reputation for producing premium-quality, consistent and best-tasting dairy products.
