The company's other leading (and most expensive) wine is Grand Reserve. Sold in restaurants, stores, and via the company's Web site (where legal), JFW's libations -- in addition to its well-known chardonnay -- include merlot, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon, and zinfandel. JFW owns and farms 14,000 acres of vineyards running along the California coast. Founder and billionaire Jess Jackson and his family own JFW.

JVW Corporation grows and harvests grapes, makes wine and bottles and sells it as the Jordan Vineyard & Winery. Located in the Sonoma Valley in Healdsburg, California, the winery, designed to look like an 18th century French chateau, produces cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay wines, which are distributed in throughout the US, as well as in the UK and the Far East. The winery keeps vintages dating back to 1976. JVW also grows olive trees on its land and produces limited-edition olive oils for retail sale. JVW Corporation is the brainchild of oilman Tom Jordan.
