Hood River Distillers, Inc. (DSP-OR-1) was established in 1934 in Hood River, Oregon. It began by making fruit wines and brandies from the apples, pears and berries that were going to waste as excess production from the valley's abundant harvests.In the early days, Hood River Distillers used 470,000 boxes of Oregon apples annually to make products such as Old Delicious Brandy. Production capacity back then was 300,000 gallons per year. Hood River Distillers has been at its current bottling facility in Hood River since 1968 and has expanded the plant for storage and production line upgrades several times throughout the years. The company is currently producing more than 1.25 million cases per year. Today, Hood River Distillers is the largest and oldest liquor company in the Pacific Northwest. Hood River Distillers produces, imports and distributes more than 15 brands of spirits ranging from value to premium products, including whisky, rum, gin, vodka, brandy, tequila and liqueur. Indage Vintners (formerly Champagne Indage) is one of India's top wine makers and suppliers. With some 32 labels, it produces a variety of red, white, and sparkling wines, which it exports throughout the world. Domestically, the company operates vineyards in the Narayangaon region that produce the Chateau Indage and Indage Vineyards brands. Top sellers include Riviera, Figueira, and Chantilli. Its international operations include the Thachi Vineyards in Australia. Subsidiary Indage (UK) imports wines from around the world and distributes them in the UK to major supermarkets, such as J Sainsbury, and other retailers. Iron Horse Ranch & Vineyards produces red, white, and sparkling and still wines. Among the vineyard's varietals are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Iron Horse's 160 acres are located in California's cool, misty, grapevine-friendly Green Valley (just 13 miles from the Pacific Ocean). Its wines, which have been served at the White House, are available at the winery and on the company's Web site to those US states which allow direct shipments of alcohol to consumers. Iron Horse was founded in 1976 by Barry and Audrey Sterling. Their children, including CEO Joy Sterling, now run the company.

J. Filippi Vintage, which operates as Joseph Filippi Winery & Vineyards, produces merlot, syrah, zinfandel, chardonnay, and dessert wines. The winery is known for its premium wines, but it also makes sacramental and altar wines and offers custom-labeling services. It has tasting and sales locations, one in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and another in the Guasti district, near the Ontario Airport. The family-owned vineyard and winery was founded in 1922.

J. Lohr Winery pours it on. It produces red, white, sparkling, and non-alcoholic wines. The winery's vintages are divided into tiers with the more expensive wines falling under the J. Lohr Cuv�e Series, J. Lohr Vineyards Series, and J. Lohr Estates labels. Its less expensive wines bear the Cypress Vineyards and Painter Bridge labels. The company also makes a line of non-alcoholic wines called ARIEL. It grows mainly red varietals of grapes on some 3,000 acres that it owns and farms in the Arroyo Seco, Paso Robles, and Napa Valley regions of California.
