National Wildlife Federation
The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) works to educate the public about conservation of wildlife and other natural resources. The non-profit organization, with some four million members, organizes efforts on an educational and political front. Conservation projects include restoring gray wolves to Yellowstone, protecting the Everglades, preserving wetlands, flood plain management, fighting effects of climate change, and saving Alaska's Copper River Delta. National Wildlife Federation also conducts wildlife tours and publishes a number of magazines including National Wildlife, Ranger Rick, Your Big Backyard, and Animal Baby and produces film and television programs on conservation. The NWF was founded in 1936.
