Natural Resources Defense Council
Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC) fights for those who can't. It's a 1.2-million member environmental action organization dedicated to preserving wildlife and the wilderness. Among the issues the NRDC addresses are curbing global warming, creating a future of clean energy, reviving the world's oceans, saving endangered wildlife and wild places, stemming the tide of toxic chemicals, and accelerating the greening of China. Natural Resources Defense Council conducts its work from its New York headquarters and regional offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington, DC. Natural Resources Defense Council also publishes Nature's Voice, a bulletin on environmental campaigns; OnEarth, its quarterly magazine; and periodic NRDC Reports on specific issues.
