The National Automobile Dealers Association, founded in 1917, represents more than 19,700 new car and truck dealers, both domestic and international, with more than 43,000 separate franchises.
The National Automobile Dealers Association (N.A.D.A.) has been around almost as long as there have been cars. Founded in 1917, N.A.D.A. represents more than 19,700 new car and truck dealers in the US and abroad. Through its more than 43,000 franchises N.A.D.A. offers a range of services for member dealerships including: government relations (represents dealer interests before the US Congress), legal and public affairs, dealership operations (training and educational programs), information technology resources training, and convention and exposition support. N.A.D.A. also publishes The N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide. Membership is open to any dealer with a new car or truck sales and service franchise.
