Brescia University is located in Owensboro, Kentucky, near the Ohio River. The University campus is within walking distance of the revitalized downtown area, the RiverPark Performing Arts Center, the Daviess County Public Library and the Owensboro Museum of Fine Arts, as well as numerous restaurants, churches and parks. Owensboro is known as "Kentucky's Festival City." Each year, the world-famous International Bar-B-Q Festival and the Summer Festival consists of spectators and participants from across the country and around the world.
