Iberica de Autopistas, S.A.
Iberica de Autopistas (Iberpistas) complaining about the toll it must take. The Spanish tollway operator was established in 1967 to build, maintain, and operate the Villalba-Adanero motorway. This 70-km section of highway was initially built by predecessor company Canales y Tuneles in 1960. Iberpistas also is under contract to manage a 300-km section of the Bilbao-Zaragoza roadway through 2026. To gain new business, the company has partnered on projects with construction group Sacyr. Spain's leading tollway operator, Abertis Infraestructuras, owns Iberpistas.
