Gorilla Adventure is a well-knit, well experienced, well equipped troop of members that is passionately dedicated to promote the energizing adventure to all adventure lovers like us. We all members are regular trekkers with high experience in trekking, camping, rock climbing & other adventure activities. We always keep ourselves updated of new techniques and technologies intended for adventure based activities so as to present our participants a low-risk experience.

Ltd., was set up in 1996, by professionals from the service industries, with the objective of extending professional services in the field of tourism and related activities. Hammock structures its services entirely from the customer's viewpoint, taking care to understand their aspirations, as well as apprehensions fully. Based on this understanding, holidays are planned and delivered, with great attention to all details. Hammock is headquartered in Bangalore, with branch offices at Cochin & Mumbai .We have also tied up with reputed operators in other major cities . In addition to the regular domestic & international holiday options, we have a repertoire of wildlife, adventure and special interest itineraries. We are an adventure travel outfit, which started its operations in 1991, in various parts of Himachal Pradesh - Shimla, Kinnaur and Kullu/Manali region, primarily organizing treks and safaris for overseas clients. In 1995, we started organising camps for the corporate sector aimed at team building & fun in the districts of Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur. HCL Corp. was one of our first clients and still continues to enjoy our camps annually as much as they did eight years ago. In the year 2000, we shifted our base to the Kullu valley where it remains now. The camp sits on the edge of Batahar forest, across the suspension bridge at '15 Mile', with an altitude of 5000 feet, approximately 15 Kms. short of Manali. The Kullu valley is an exotic summer and autumn location known for its beauty, friendly people, good roads and communication network

Traveling in these times is more about entering a world of experiences that contradicts and avoids anything close to our habitual practices and perceptions. We are perhaps different people when we travel, wanting to live more, talk less, see more respond less and feel more and freak nevertheless . Traveling is now being defined as a journey in terms of knowing cultures, people and places at proximities that unravel their reality and beauty. The year 1985, one Indian and three British instigated High Places. An Outdoor Venture that offered adventure holidays, high altitude treks in the Himalayas in Ladakh, Garhwal and Sikkim for its European clients. This was also the time of our introduction to OMDP's in UK. With this vast experience in India and abroad, the first ever Management Development Program in India using outdoors as a medium was conducted in 1989. This also was the beginning of High Places India as a separate entity. Few outdoor enthusiasts joined up to mark the beginning of this unique methodology that happens to be one the emergent medium for various training needs today. With over 900 outdoor programs and more than 13000 participants having benefited from the experience so far, this setup has evolved into an organization known as ' High Places Management Pvt. Ltd.
