Lok Sabha elections 2024: Party-wise result status of total seats won
Lok Sabha elections 2024 party-wise result updates: A surprising Lok Sabha elections result trend unfolded on Tuesday, in which the leading Opposition party Congress exceeded the exit poll prediction to win 99 constituencies.

Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi won big in Wayanad and Raebareli constituencies by a margin of over 350,000 votes on both seats. The surprise gains for the Congress, specially in Uttar Pradesh is a major boost for the party, which only secured total 52 seats in the 2019 elections.
The Congress-led INDIA bloc's total seat score stands at 233.
As for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, which had set an ambitious goal of securing 370 seats by itself, failed to repeat its 2019 performance of winning breaching the 300 mark. The saffron party had won 303 seats last time.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, won his historic third term from the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency in UP, however, with his lowest margin at only about 150,000. In 2019, Modi retained the constituency by a margin of nearly 479,505 votes.
