Mazda and its Zoom-Zoom spirit, races alongside the top automakers in Japan. Selling more than 1.2 million vehicles annually, Mazda makes passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and crossover SUVs. It comprises more than 50 subsidiaries, including sales companies: Mazda Motor of America, Europe, and Australia. The company manufactures in Japan, China, and Thailand. Models include the Mazda 2, 3, 6, and 8 passenger vehicles; MX-5 (Miata), RX-8 sports cars; E-series commercial vehicles; and B-Series pickup trucks. Mazda added crossover SUVs to its lineup with the Tribute, Mazda5 (Premacy), Verisa, Biante, CX-7, and CX-9. Ford Motor holds a 3.5% stake in Mazda.
