It's clear that Sinclair Technologies synchronizes its
business around telecommunications technologies. The company
manufactures a variety of components, including fixed and
mobile wireless network antennas, filters, receiver
multicouplers, and transmitter combiners for more than 1,500
customers. Its products are used for mobile radio, public
safety, military, cellular, and transportation applications.
Sinclair Radio Laboratories was founded in 1951 by George
Sinclair, an engineering professor at the University of
Toronto; in the 1960s the firm designed antennas used on
Gemini spacecraft. The company is owned by the three
daughters of the founder, who died in 1993. It became
Sinclair Technologies in 1995.
