Wilh. Steinberg, Theringer Pianoforte GmbH
The company primarily manufactures upright and grand pianos and sells them through retail partners worldwide. Among the 6,000 components used by the company are numbered and certified soundboards from Italy (Stradivari reputedly used wood from the same region for his violins), actions from the Renner factory in Stuttgart, and a grey cast-iron frame that is stable and less likely to resonate. Wilh. Steinberg, which was established in 1877, exports pianos throughout the world.
