SciQuest was acquired and taken private by Trinity Ventures in 2004. Intersouth Partners and River Cities Capital Funds became investors soon afterwards. SciQuest's supplier management and procurement automation software helps customers reduce costs and more closely monitor their spending. SciQuest also offers materials management systems that let organizations track and display detailed information about their inventory. SciQuest serves customers in a broad range of industries, including biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, energy and utilities, food and beverage, health care, telecommunications, and universities.
