With a top speed of more than 200 mph, the Murcielago's 6.5-liter, 12-cylinder power plant (which delivers 630 horsepower -- more than five Toyota Corollas or two Ford V-8s) can rocket you from zero to 60 mph in less than four seconds. But don't burn too much rubber -- the Murcielago's Pirelli tires cost more than $600 each.

AviChina Industry & Technology develops, manufactures, and sells mini-sized vehicles, economy sedans, and vehicle engines in addition to the development, manufacture, and sale of aviation products. AviChina takes to the skies with products that include helicopters, regional jets, trainers, general-purpose aircraft, components, parts and other avionic products for the civil aviation market. AvtoVAZ is a Russian maker of passenger cars. The company has a $330 million joint venture with General Motors -- GM-AvtoVAZ -- to manufacture the Chevy-Niva SUV and Chevy Viva cars (more than 55,000 were produced in 2007). AvtoVAZ and GM each hold a 41.5% share in the venture, while the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development owns the remaining 17%.

Bentley has about 170 dealerships worldwide, some 50 of which are in the US. Bentley is owned by Volkswagen. The preferred choice of both the nouveau riche and old money aristocracy, many of the most exclusive automobiles in the world are made by Bentley. Bentley's Continental GT costs about $150,000 -- a fair price when one considers the steering wheel's leather stitching takes as many man hours to complete as the building of an entire Ford sedan. Other Bentley models include the T, R, and RL model Arnage luxury sedans as well as the Azure (company's flagship in 2006), and Continental Flying Spur.
