Two subsidiaries in France, Rougier Sylvaco and Rougier Panneaux, import tropical timber and plywood, respectively. Europe accounts for more than half the company's revenue and Asia covers about a third. The company sells African species, including Kosipo, Kotibe, Longhi, Niove, Ozigo, Pao Rosa exclusively.

Sheoga Hardwood Flooring and Paneling makes prefinished and unfinished flooring and paneling from hardwoods, including ash, beech, hard maple, walnut, hickory, and red and white oak harvested from the Appalachian region of the US. The company also offers dense Brazilian cherry prefinished hardwood flooring and wood paneling. Sheoga air-dries its lumber for several months and then kiln-dries it before milling it into hardwood products. The company began operations in 1982.

Sierra Pacific Industries company owns and manages about 2 million acres of timberland in California and Washington. With a network of sawmills, it is among the top lumber producers in the US. SPI's manufacturing plants also produce mouldings and millwork, windows and doors, fencing, and wood fiber by-products, such as chips, bark, and shavings. Several of its sawmills also house cogeneration facilities that recycle wood waste into power for its plants; excess electricity is sold to local public utilities. Additionally, SPI is involved in residential and commercial real estate. The company traces its roots to the 1920s when it was founded by R. H. "Curly" Emmerson.
